The Danica campground, which measures
4.5 hectares and has space for 700 campers, is located in a small wood 200m west of the
bus stop in Bohinjska Bistrica. It's convenient to the train station but is about 6km from
the shores of Lake Bohinj.

Many of the better restaurants are spread out to the north and east of Ribčev Laz, which
will require a modest hike, or car or bike to reach. There's a

Studor and about 5km from Ribčev Laz. Among the excellent home-cooked dishes are

foodies. Overlook the incongruous location in the centre of Bohinska Bistrica, and enjoy
local treats like

and sauerkraut, potato mash, and cooked buckwheat.
