This 15-room place above a popular pizzeria is more guesthouse than hotel with its
standard-issue furnishings and views, but the name says it all - it's about as central as
you're going to find in Ribčev Laz.

The Zlatorog,
5km west of Ribčev Laz in Ukanc, dates from the late 1970s and retains a whiff of the old
communist days. That said, it's out of the way, quiet and pleasant, and one of the few full-
service hotels in the immediate lake area. There's a pool and tennis courts, and some
rooms have been refitted to accommodate guests with disabilities.

pleasant, pine-shaded 2.5-hectare campground accommodating 500 guests is at the lake's
western end, 4.5km from Ribčev Laz. Prices vary according to site location, with the most
expensive - and desirable - sites right on the lake.

Bohinj's youth hostel, some 3km
west of the centre of Ribčev Laz on the road to Ukanc, has 119 beds in 46 rooms in two
buildings. The so-called hostel building has doubles, triples and dormitory accommoda-
tion (up to four beds), with shared facilities; rooms in the Rodica Annex, with between
one and four beds, are en suite.
