A 2½-hour rafting trip down the Sava Bohinjka/Soča River costs €35, and a three-hour
canyoning descent is €55. Kayak trips lasting three hours cost €49. Paragliding is €95 and
skydiving €190. Horseback riding starts at €50 for a two-hour outing.
The agency also rents bikes (half-day/full day €8/15), conduct hot-air balloon flights
(€150) and lead diving expeditions of Lake Bled (€70).

Boating
Lake Bled is open to rowboats , though motorboats are banned. You can rent rowboats for
around €15 per hour from the Castle Baths Offline map Google map or from near the Garni
Penzion Pletna in Mlino Offline map Google map for getting to Bled Island or just pottering
about.

Gondola
(Pletna; 041 427 155; per person return €12) Riding a piloted gondola out to Bled Is-
land is the archetypal tourist experience. There is a convenient jetty just below the TIC
Offline map Google map and another in Mlino Offline map Google map on the south shore. You
get about half an hour to explore the island. In all, the trip to the island and back takes
about 1¼ hours.

BOATING

Fishing
Fishing is allowed on Lake Bled, provided you have a permit. The surrounding lakes and
streams are fertile ground for all manner of river fish. The TIC ( Click here ) and Fauna
can provide information.
