colourful and upbeat place next door to an art-supplies shop (thus the name) just over
Capuchin Bridge has six plain but clean rooms, all with exceptional bathrooms. Room 1,
3, 5 and 6 have views of the river and the castle, but the upper-floor rooms (just under the
roof) can get very hot in summer. Book in advance, particularly in summer.

4-hectare campground for 400 guests in Drago čajna, 11km to the east, is the closest one
to Škofja Loka. It is situated on the left bank of the Sava River and beside Lake Zbilje.
There is also a beach with separate facilities set aside for naturists.
