Ljubljana has half a dozen theatres so there should be something on stage for everyone.
Slovenian theatre is usually quite visual with a lot of mixed media, so you don't always
have to speak the lingo to enjoy the production. In addition to concerts and other musical
events, Cankarjev Dom regularly stages theatrical productions.

German-language theatre in 1911, this wonderful art-nouveau building is home to the na-
tional theatre company. Performances are in Slovene.
