CAR
Mantua is just west of the A22 Modena-Verona-Trento autostrada; the best exit is Mantua
North. The city is 45km south of Verona and around 50km south of Lake Garda.
Much of old Mantua is a traffic-restricted zone. There is free parking along the city's
northern lake road (Viale Mincio) and to the south of the city along Viale Isonzo, near
Palazzo Te.
