Activities
Lakefront Promenades
On a sunny day the people of Mantua head for the waterfront, where grassy banks are
thronged with fishermen and picnicking families. Each of the three lakes has a distinct
style. The shore of
Lake Mezzo
, complete with the child-friendly gadgets of the
Parco dell
Scienza
(outdoor science park), is the most crowded; the quieter path beside
Lake Superiore
meanders amid reed beds and wading birds; while the shore of
Lake Inferiore
brings broad
views.
