diovisual displays chart the history of olive oil production on Lake Garda and explain how
the crop is harvested today. Highlights include the huge mule-driven presses.

1000 sq metres, eight pools and a fitness room are dedicated to your well-being. A circu-

double as fairground rides for older kids, while designated children's pools and play areas
keep little ones amused.

most atmospheric ways to savour Bardolino's bitter cherry flavours is a tutored tasting at
Guerrieri Rizzardi. After a tour of wine cellars full of cobweb-laced bottles, relaxed tast-
ings take place in the ancient walled kitchen garden. Bookings required.

& Sun) Bardolino's gourmets head for this intimate little o steria where sourcing local del-
icacies is a labour of love for its sommelier-owner. The intensely flavoured baked truffles
with parmigiano reggiano (Parmesan) are legendary, and the highly seasonal menu may
feature rarities like goose salami or guinea fowl salad.

Osteria Al Capitel

Despite its roadside situation, Al Capital features a lovely shady garden, a warm rustic in-
terior and serves a commendable Veronese menu. Lake fish are well represented alongside
Venetian and Veronese specialities such as sarde e soar (sardines in wine vinegar).
