You can pick up a bicycle (€1/10 per two hours/day) from the bicycle kiosk (

BUS
From Brescia's main bus station ( 030 4 49 15; Via Solferino) buses operated by SAIA Trasporti (
030 288 99 11, 800 883999; www.saiatrasporti.it ) serve destinations all over Brescia province. Some
leave from another station off Viale della Stazione.
CAR
Brescia is on the A4 motorway between Milan and Verona. The A21 runs south to Cre-
mona.
Driving in the old centre is restricted and monitored by camera. People staying in hotels
in the centre need to give the hotel reception their number plate on arrival. You have 15
minutes to unload/load the vehicle before exiting again and parking elsewhere. There are
car parks outside the old centre, where street parking is also possible.
TRAIN
Regular trains run to and from Milan (€7 to €20.50, 45 minutes to 1½ hours) and Verona
(€6.25 to €17, 40 minutes). Hourly trains connect with Cremona (€5.25, one hour) and
Bergamo (€4.55 to €6.45, one to 1½ hours).
