Montagnola and serve up well-priced local cooking. Visit www.collinadoro.com and click

( 091 922 76 89; Via Magatti 3; meals Sfr40-45; 11am-11pm Mon-Sat) Favoured by the local bank-
ing brigade at lunchtime, this is a great place to taste fine local wines over a well-prepared
meal. The menu changes daily and might include a filetto di rombo al vapore (steamed
turbot fillet) or ravioli stuffed with fine Tuscan Chianina beef. Knowledgeable waiters
fuss around the tables and are only too happy to suggest the perfect Ticino tipple.

have the perfect vantage point from which to do so - come here primarily for the views. A
short walk down from the top funicular station atop Monte Brè, Vetta has a perfect terrace
