4.1 Collection of Wall Painting Data and Database Building
Though a restoration object is the wall paintings of the cave No. 4, there are many
lack parts. To fill the missed parts, we consider that it refers to the wall painting of
other similar cave. Then, we use the wall painting of the cave No. 9 which similar to
the No. 4. (A pictorial book for the No. 9 one was published.) The wall painting is
classified based on the item shown in Table 2, the image-database is made. (Fig. 8.)
For reconstruction of the wall painting, lack parts of wall painting are analogized
religiously and statistically using the database
