All of the above-mentioned energy sources are renewable and their supply is readily available
and assured. Currently, burning biomass residues is often considered to be a disposal method rather
than an energy source. These resources should be commercially exploited. This will have the added
benefit of making the palm oil industry more environmentally sustainable.
