frills eatery specialises in Creole classics. The setting being bland, your best bet is to take
away (mains €5) - you'll find plenty of atmospheric spots along the coast driving south of
Piton Ste-Rose.
4 Anse des Cascades
Restaurant des Cascades
( 0262 47 20 42; Anse des Cascades; mains €13-27, menus €12-25; lunch Sat-Thu) A local and tourist
favourite, this beach restaurant in a lovely coconut grove bursts to the seams on week-
ends. It serves fresh fish and Creole dishes as well as sandwiches and a lovely palm-heart
