Le Saint-Alexis is a beautifully designed resort at the southern tip of the main
beach. The rooms are attractively decorated, although some of the standard ones are look-
ing a little threadbare these days. Facilities include a gym, a small spa and a large pool.
Frequent online promotional deals provide real value.

Though ageing a bit, this four-star bigwig at the northern end of the beach is still a
commendable option provided you score a room with a sea view. There's a reputable on-
site restaurant if you're feeling too lazy to travel elsewhere.

ade.
