permarket, but the proud owner refuses to sell his land to the hungry developers of the
Balise Marina project (smart guy!). If the owner caves, chances are high that you'll find
this local haunt across the street from its original location.

on Creole home cooking make this family-run place a perennial favourite. There's a lim-
ited range of daily dishes, such as
rougaille saucisses

the evenings as there are only a handful of tables. Delivery available.

dissuaded by the petrol-station-adjacent location, La Bonne Chute has built its reputation
around its flavourful dishes and attractive garden setting. From venison and beef to
steamed fish, crab and prawn cassoulette, the kitchen always seems to get it right. And
don't forget to save room for one of the homemade desserts.
