tion of agreeable outdoor tables just across the road from the beach, Twin's does dishes
that range from the extremely well-priced (Rs 950) grilled lobster flamed with local rum
and garlic butter or the lamb shanks in Rodrigues honey to prime Australian steaks. So-
mething, however, seems to have been lost in the translation in the 'cassoulette of the fish-
erman with seafood and lobster bisque'... On Friday nights it's a buffet dinner, a live séga
floor show and then live bands playing music from the '60s through to the '80s. We prefer
the other nights but each to their own.

rounds than we're accustomed to in Flic en Flac, this elegant place makes you pay a little
over the odds but the seafood is excellent.
Drinking & Nightlife
You'll find plenty of bars around the Pasadena Village complex (you'll hear them before
you see them) and across the road from the beach further south.
KenziBar

your best bet for nightlife in Flic en Flac. There's tongue-tingling rhum arrangés (rum
punch) , fire-spurting torches, live music (on Fridays and Saturdays) and a mangy, pat-
hungry dog that calls the bar home - welcome to Mauritius!

jet-set as things get beyond the high walls of the upmarket resorts.
Getting There & Around
There is a bus from Port Louis to Flic en Flac and Wolmar every 15 to 20 minutes. Public
buses constantly ply the coastal route in Flic en Flac and many tourists use it as a cheap
