Curepipe is an important transport hub, with frequent bus services to Port Louis (Victoria
Sq), Mahébourg, Centre de Flacq, Moka and just about anywhere else on the island. There
are two terminals - the
northbound
and the
southbound
. Most services go from the north-
bound (Port Louis, Rose Hill, Quatre Bornes); Mahébourg is served from the southbound.
The terminals lie on either side of Châteauneuf St, at the junction with Victoria Ave.
From Curepipe, expect to pay Rs 1000 for a taxi ride to the airport, Rs 1600 to Grand
Baie, Rs 1500 to Belle Mare, Rs 1000 to Port Louis, Rs 1000 to Flic en Flac and Rs 600 to
Black River.
