side you can view hundreds of 19th-century and contemporary Bulgarian artworks.

Sveti Sveti Petâr & Pavel Church
(St Peter and St Paul Church; ul Hristo Smirnenski 16) This pretty pink church, a little
further along from the Archaeological Museum, was built in the 1860s and is adorned
with bright modern murals. It houses relics of a 4th-century local saint, Dasius, which
were stolen by medieval crusaders and were returned to the church by the Pope only in
2001, after spending several centuries in Italy.
