only if you've bought the combined ticket with the Baba Vida fortress.

art gallery, named after Bulgarian painter Nikola Petrov, with paintings by local artists.
It's housed in a stately neoclassical building near the Hotel Bononia.

from the riverside park, the Bononia is an old-style hotel; even so it offers acceptable
rooms that are good value. The hotel also has a decent restaurant.

(ul Aleksandar II 25; mains 5-15 lv) Opposite the Port Authority building on the riverb-
ank, this is one of the better places in town, with a big menu of pizzas and pasta dishes, as
well as locally caught fish.
