In-Depth Information
bing all night, this is the place to come. You won't even notice that you're in a country
called Bulgaria.
As Sunny Beach is a package-holiday resort, pretty much everyone staying here will be
on prebooked, often all-inclusive deals arranged in their home countries, and so no ac-
commodation options are listed here; try nearby Nesebâr instead.
Activities
Numerous water sports are available on the beach, such as parasailing (solo/tandem 45/
80 lv) and jet skiing (15 minutes about 50 lv). In summer, weekly shows (tickets 25 lv) of
folk music, dancing and acrobatics take place in the Hotel Majestic at the far northern end
of the beach.

Eating
Restaurants in Sunny Beach are among the most expensive in Bulgaria, and, annoyingly,
even normally uniform chains such as McDonald's and Happy Bar & Grill charge two to
three times more than at their branches elsewhere. There are cheaper fast-food stalls dot-
ted along the beach.
Fat Cat $$$
(mains around 10-20 lv; 24hr) On the beachfront opposite the Glarus Hotel, this is a
typically boisterous restaurant and pub aimed particularly at British tourists, with a menu
of pizzas, steaks, curries and roast dinners.
