ing industry.
About 10 minutes' walk west of Piaţa Libertăţii, along Str Gheorge Şincai, is the B-dul
Unirii, which runs north and south through the heart of the modern, socialist-inspired city
of the 1970s and '80s. The train and bus stations lie further to the west on Str Gării, and
are about a 15-minute walk from Piaţa Libertăţii.
