The border crossing into Hungary is 52km west of Arad in Nădlac. This is a major road
crossing from Romania into Hungary, so expect to wait at the border.

fast services include several to Budapest (about 100 lei, four hours), with onward connec-
tions to Western Europe, Bucharest (105 to 140 lei, 10 hours, three daily), Timişoara (20
