Getting There & Away
Air
Lufthansa ( www.lufthansa.com ) Sends two daily flights to Munich.
Wizz Air ( www.wizzair.com ) Budget carrier flies to London, Paris, Rome, Venice, Mad-
rid, Barcelona and more.
Bus
Daily bus services from Autogara 2 (Autogara Beta; 0264-455 249) include two daily
buses travelling to Braşov (50 lei), three to Bucharest (60 lei), five to Budapest (75 lei),
one to Chişinau (18 lei) and eight to Sibiu (28 lei, three hours). There's also a handful of
buses that travel to Bistriţa (13 lei) and Baia Mare (25 lei). The bus station is 350m north-
west of the train station (take the overpass). Note: there is no Autogara 1.
From a parking lot on Piaţa Mihai Viteazul, two companies run seven daily buses to
Turda (7 lei) till about 8.30pm.
From Piaţa Unirii microbuses go via Oradea to Budapest's Ferihegy 2 Airport (75 lei,
six or seven hours).
Note: it's quicker to get to Sibiu by bus, and Braşov by train from Cluj.
Train
The Agenţia de Voiaj CFR ( 0264-432 001; Piaţa Mihai Viteazul 20; 8am-8pm
Mon-Fri, 9am-1.30pm Sat) sells domestic and international train tickets in advance.
