Upgrading JIRA manually
If you find yourself in a situation where you cannot use the JIRA installer to upgrade JIRA,
for example, you are hosting JIRA on an OS that does not have an installer binary such as
Solaris, or if you are using the WAR distribution, then you need to manually upgrade your
JIRA instance.
