How to do it…
Proceed with the following steps to create new priorities in JIRA:
1. Navigate to
Administration
|
Issues
|
Priorities
.
2. Enter the new priority's name.
3. Set an icon for the issue type. You can either click on the
select image
link, select
an existing icon, or type in a full URL to a custom icon.
4. Select a color for the priority. The color will be used when you export issues to Ex-
cel.
5. Click on the
Add
button to create the new priority.
Note
Priorities are global, and newly created priorities will be available to all projects.
