How to do it…
Perform the following steps to troubleshoot permission problems in JIRA:
1. Navigate to
Administration
|
Add-ons
|
Permission Helper
.
2. Select the affected user.
3. Select the issue for which the user is expected to have permissions from.
4. Select the permission type the user should have access to.
5. Click on
Submit
to start troubleshooting.
You can also run the
Permission Helper
tool from the
Admin
menu while viewing an is-
sue.
