How it works…
The JIRA Users global permission allows users to log in to JIRA. When a user is created in
JIRA, he or she will be automatically added to all groups that have this permission, unless
the group also has a JIRA Administrator or JIRA System Administrators global permission.
It is important to pay attention to what groups you add here so that users will not be auto-
matically added to the groups they don't belong to.
Note
Users with JIRA Administrators and JIRA System Administrators global permissions can
also log in to JIRA.
