What's Not Part of the State?
The current path (which we will explore later in this chapter) and current bitmap (see
Chapter 4 ) being manipulated on the Canvas context are not part of the saved state. This very
importantfeaturewillallowustodrawandanimateindividualobjectsonthecanvas.Thesec-
tion SimpleCanvasTransformations utilizestheCanvasstatetoapplytransformationstoonly
thecurrentshapebeingconstructed anddrawn,leavingtherestofthecanvasnottransformed.
