Object to the hierarchy as a separate alias. The use of a separate alias
for the hierarchy join causes the RDBMS platform to handle the two
joins and join table independently of each other, even though they are
the same tables.
The third primary function of the SQL in Figure 7.6 is that it excludes
those rows that join to the same hierarchical group for both the Driver
Object and the Correlation Object. This has the effect of preventing a hier-
archical group from correlating to its own objects, which is conceptually
the same as preventing an object from correlating with itself. The output
of this is shown in Table 7.9.
