Click and drag the corner of the rectangle to change the size of the decal.

Click
OK
on the PropertyManager.

On the DisplayManager tab, expand the
Decals
tree, right click on
recycle
, and
select
Delete
.
Creating your own Decals
1.
Download the globe.jpg from the companion website.
2.
On the CommandManager, click
Render Tools > Edit Decal
.
3.
On the PropertyManager, click the
Browse
button.
4.
Go to the location of the globe.jpg file and double-click on it.
5.
On the PropertyManager, click the
Save Decal
button.
6.
Click
Save
and SOLIDWORKS creates the *.p2d file.
7.
On the SOLIDWORKS message, click
Yes
to add the location of the decal file
to the Task Pane.
8.
On the Task Pane, click the
Appearances, Scenes, and Decals
tab and expand
the
Decals
folder. Notice the new folder added to the
Decals
folder.
9.
Click on the new folder and notice the Decal in the lower portion of the Task
Pane.
10.
Select the globe decal from the Task Pane.
11.
Select the outer surface of the model.
