Believed to be the oldest colonial
dwelling in Western Australia (WA), this 1832 wattle-and-daub cottage is packed with an-
tiques, freaky mannequins and displays on its former residents.
Albany Convict Gaol

The old gaol was built in 1851
as a hiring depot for ticket-of-leave convicts, but by 1855 most were in private employ-
ment. In 1872 the building was extended and reopened as a civil gaol, and is now a folk
museum.
Old Farm at Strawberry Hill

National Trust-owned Strawberry
Hill is one of the oldest farms in WA, established in 1827 as the town's government farm.
The homestead (1836) features antiques and artefacts that belonged to the original owner.
