Lesueur National Park

This botanical paradise, 50km north of Cervantes, contains a staggering 820
plant species, many of them rare and endemic, such as the pine banksia
(Banksia tricup-
sis)
and Mt Lesueur grevillea
(Grevillea batrachioides)
. Late winter sees the heath erupt
into a mass of colour, and the park is also home to the endangered Carnaby's cockatoo.
An 18km circuit drive is dotted with lookouts and picnic areas. Flat-topped
Mt Lesueur
(4km return walk) has panoramic coastal views.
