a roaring creek, this splurge-worthy Shangri-la brings the outdoors inside, with marvel-
lously imaginative, nature-derived details you won't find elsewhere: a round cabin built
around a living pine tree, a bathtub of river rocks, sinks carved from tree trunks… Outside
there's a spring-fed swimming pond and riverside yoga patch. Three cabins (two with kit-

hotel, family run since 1946, has 12 well-kept rooms with pine furnishings. The convivial,
atmospheric restaurant serves traditional Provençal classics and live trout. Peek into the
