spectacularly illuminated every night in summer, sunset to mid-
night. The first two weekends in June, a jaw-dropping display of
pyrotechnics and fireworks

starting around 10pm.

Buses stop on D981, 1km north of the visitors centre. In summer some buses travel

CAR
Pont du Gard is 21km northeast of Nîmes and 26km west of Avignon. From
autoroute A9, exit 23 at Remoulins, towards Uzès. Park on
rive gauche

services.
