LES ARCS-SUR-ARGENS & LA MOTTE
The extended sprawl around Les Arcs and La Motte is nothing special, but the nearby area
(like along the D25) is rich in vineyards and wine tasting opportunities. There are some
great restaurants, and the medieval hilltop quarter of Les Arcs is a fun stroll. St Rosaline
was born there in 1263 in the 12th century château where she later performed the 'mir-
acle of roses', turning bread into roses.
