To find out what's on where, you can check the venue's schedule or that of the relevant
companies (orchestra, ballet etc). Note that jacket and tie are generally compulsory for
men for evening performances.
Shopping
Monaco's streets drip with couture and designer shops, many of which congregate in
Monte Carlo. Av des Beaux Arts and av de Monte Carlo, close to the casino, are where to
go for all your haute couture needs (from Chanel to Yves Saint Laurent). For chic
boutiques and a few more designer brands, head to the Métropole Shopping Centre

Getting There & Away
Air Héli-Air Monaco ( 92 05 00 50; www.heliairmonaco.com ) runs helicopter flights
between Nice and Monaco's Héliport (av des Ligures) several times a day (from €107,
seven minutes).
Bus Bus 100 (€1, every 15 minutes from 6am to 9pm) goes to Nice (45 minutes) and
Menton (40 minutes) along the Corniche Inférieure. Bus 110 (€18, hourly) goes to Nice-
Côte d'Azur airport (40 minutes). Both services stop at place d'Armes and the stop on bd
des Moulins. There are also four night services (10pm to 3.45am) on Thursday, Friday and
Saturday.
CAR Only Monaco and Alpes-Maritimes (06) registered cars can access Monaco Ville. If
you decide to drive, park in one of the numerous underground car parks.
