Bus
There are excellent intercity services around Nice. All journeys cost €1. The bus station
was demolished in 2011 so bus stops are now scattered around the coulée verte. There are
detailed maps all along the park to help you locate your bus stop. Smartphone users can
also download the very useful Ligne d'Azur ( Click here ) app or visit the company's of-
fice.
» Bus 100 goes to Menton (1½ hours) via the Corniche Inférieure and Monaco (40
minutes)
» Bus 200 goes to Cannes (1½ hours)
» Bus 400 goes to Vence (1¼ hours) via St-Paul de Vence (one hour)
» Bus 500 goes to Grasse (1½ hours)
There are also services to Alpine villages such as ski resort Isola 2000 (buses 740 and
750).
Eurolines ( www.eurolines.com ) serves long-haul European destinations.
Ferry
Nice is the main port for ferries to Corsica. SNCM ( www.sncm.fr ; quai du Commerce,
ferry terminal) and Corsica Ferries ( www.corsicaferries.com ; quai Lunel) are the two
main companies.
