Behind heavy iron gates hides this little gem of a hotel: the nine beautifully appointed
rooms, the work of the exquisite Marion, are a subtle blend of old and new and overlook a
delightful garden with a glorious orange tree. Amazingly, all this charm and peacefulness

Set in a lovely converted monastery in the north of the city, this is a great place to put
down your bags for a few days. Chill out in the 24-hour common room, housed in the old
stained-glass chapel, sip a €1 beer on the barbecue terrace and stock up on travel tips.
The villa staff will come and pick you up from the nearby Comte de Falicon tram stop,
or St-Maurice stop for bus 23 (direct from the airport) when you first arrive. Rates include
breakfast.

pillars of its majestic 1929 art deco facade. Rooms are well-appointed (king-size beds,
separate shower and bath) and all have balconies, although it's worth noting that the sea
views tend to be obstructed by the facade's pillars.
