Getting Around
There aren't many places in this area that you can't access by public transport. The
Arrière-Pays Niçois, the Grande Corniche and the villages around Menton are the only
places where you'll really need a car; elsewhere, you should make the best of the fantastic
- and very cheap - trains and buses. They also run at night, so you'll be able to keep the
wine flowing!
THREE PERFECT DAYS
Day 1: Nice, Belle of the Côte d'Azur

cours Saleya and get some picnic supplies from the groaning stalls. Head to the Parc du Château ( Click here ) to
feast on views and delicacies. In the afternoon, arty types shouldn't miss Nice's Musée Matisse ( Click here ) or
the Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain ( Click here ) . For something more active, rent out skates and
zoom along the Promenade des Anglais ( Click here ) .
Day 2: Scenic Riviera

breathtaking views of the coast, and lunch at Château Eza ( Click here ) to revel in this exceptional panorama in
style. Head back down to the coast and spend the afternoon at the eccentric Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild ( Click
