In-Depth Information
2.
It has been shown during cultivation in flasks that accumulation of TBI protein in TB
plus medium did not depend on the time of addition of nalidixic acid at an optical
density of 0.8, 1.2 and 1.5 and constituted, on an average, 16.5 ± 0.4 %.
3.
When cultured in a laboratory fermenter the maximal content of target protein in
biomass reached 18.2 % following induction at an optical density of 0.8.
4.
Not only quantitative, but also qualitative characteristics of target TBI protein were
improved as a result of optimization of the process of cultivation of recombinant,
E.coli JM 103/pTBI strain.
