Eurail Global Pass A single pass valid for travel in 24 countries: Austria, Belgium,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hun-
gary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia,
Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey. There are seven different time periods
available from ten days' travel within two months, up to three months' continuous travel.
Prices start at €435/US$576 for a youth pass valid for fifteen days.
Eurail Select Pass Allows you to select three, four or five bordering countries out of the
24 countries above, plus Montenegro and Serbia, but minus France and Poland. Prices
start at €234/US$318 for a three-country youth pass valid for five days' travel within two
months.
EurailRegionalPass Allows travel within two bordering countries. Prices depend on the
country combination; for example an Austria-Czech Republic youth pass valid for five
days' travel in two months will cost you €149/US$202 whereas the same period for Ger-
many-Switzerland costs €242/US$329.
EurailOneCountryPass Offerstravelwithinoneofthefollowingeighteencountries(or
theBeneluxzoneofBelgium,theNetherlandsandLuxembourg):Austria,Bulgaria,Croa-
tia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland,
Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. Prices vary depending on the
size of the country and whether youth passes are available: for example, a youth pass in
Denmark valid for three days' travel costs €82/US$111; the same time period costs €177/
US$240 in Spain where special youth passes are not available.

can be good value if you're doing a lot of travelling within one area; we've listed some of
the main ones here.
Balkan Flexipass Offers unlimited first-class-only travel through Bulgaria, Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania and Turkey. Prices start
at US$243 (youth US$146) for five days' travel in one month.
Brit Rail Pass britrail.com . Allows unlimited travel in Britain and Ireland. Prices start
from US$335 (youth US$269) for four days' standard-class travel in one month.
European East Pass Gives five days' travel in a month in Austria, the Czech Republic,
Hungary,Poland and Slovakia forUS$219, plus upto five additional days at US$31 each.
