Enniskerry & Powerscourt Estate
Explore
About 500m south of the charming village of Enniskerry is the entrance to the 64- sq-km
Powerscourt Estate, Wicklow's grandest country pile. This is one of the most popular day
trips from Dublin, and the village - built in 1760 by Richard Wingfield, Earl of Power-
scourt, so that his labourers would have somewhere to live - is a terrific spot to while
away an afternoon.
