In July 2010 the brothers who
created Juniors (just around the corner) imported a traditional Neapolitan pizza oven and
set about introducing Dubliners to proper, thin-crusted pizza from the city of its birthplace.
Margheritas,
biancas
(no tomato sauce), calzone and other Neapolitan specialities are the
real treat, but there's also room for a classic New York slice as well as a few local cre-
ations.

Cramped and easily mis-
taken for any old cafe, Juniors is anything but ordinary: designed to imitate a New York
deli, the food (Italian-influenced, all locally sourced produce) is delicious, the atmosphere
always buzzing (it's often hard to get a table) and the ethos top-notch, which is down to the
two brothers who run the place.

Scrummy homemade burgers, bangers and mash, and wild smoked salmon salad are some
of the meals you'll find in this restaurant, which is contained within a converted tobacco
warehouse in the heart of the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). Dishes are
prepared with organic and free-range produce from the owner's family farm in County
Clare, so you can be assured of the quality. There's a large wine list to choose from, with
over 70 sold by the glass.

Amid the exposed brick, designer lampshades and comfort-
able seating is a terrific bar (30 craft beers on tap) that also doubles as an excellent restaur-
ant, serving well-made classics (chicken, burger, steak and a particularly good fish-and-
cheddar pie) that will more than satisfy if you're preparing for a gig at the Bord Gáis En-
ergy Theatre or are just out for the night.
