canal.
Turn left at the Grand Canal and begin your stroll along the towpath. About 200m past Leeson St Bridge is the
Patrick Kavanagh statue
, relaxing on a bench. The Monaghan-born poet is immortalised in the spot he loved
most in Dublin - where he couldn't get barred.
