Dolphin Cay DOLPHIN ENCOUNTER
( 242-363-3000; www.atlantis.com ; ) Atlantis' artificial lagoon is home to 31 dol-
phins, 16 of which are refugees taken in from a New Orleans aquarium after Hurricane Kat-
rina. Shallow water encounters ($150) let visitors greet and hug the slippery mammals, or
swim alongside them using special water scooters ($185). These book up way in advance.
If you just want to watch the dolphins dive and play, hang out at the snack bar or the beach
surrounding the lagoon.
