Getting There & Away
Air
Cat Island is served by two airports, the northerly
Arthur's Town Airport
(ATC;

New Bight Airport
(TBI; 242-342-2016) , in the south. Cat Island
Air flies between Nassau and both airports twice a day ($80 one way), as does Sky Ba-
hamas ($79 one way).

Lady Eddina
This mail boat (one way $40, 14 hours) departs Nassau for Bennett's
Harbour, Arthur's Town and Orange Creek on Thursday at 6pm, leaving Cat Island on
Saturday at 2pm.

The Sea Hauler
Mail boat (one way $40, 12 hours) services depart Nassau for Smith
Bay, Old Bight and New Bight on Tuesday at 3pm, leaving Cat Island for Nassau on
Monday at 7am.
Marinas
Many yachties hoist up in Fernandez Bay for food and water stores. Private boat-
ers should check in with
Customs

Getting Around
You'll need to rent a car to make the most of the island. Lack of visitor numbers makes
this quite expensive however - expect to pay about $80 per day. All car hire companies
can meet you at the airport with your car. Alternatively call for a
