1 As we write, this megaresort is poised to break ground on Cable Beach, a popular vacation
area just west of downtown Nassau. The massive project, which threatens to rival Paradise
Island's Atlantis in size, will include hotels, shopping and entertainment districts. When fin-
ished, Cable Beach will be a very different, much glitzier place. Two existing hotels, the
