Albert Lowe Museum
MUSEUM
(cnr Parliament & King Sts, Loyalist Rd; admission $5; 9am-noon & 1-4pm Mon-Sat)
Every small town needs a musty, knickknack-filled repository, and this 1825 house mu-
seum serves this purpose admirably. Once home to future British Prime Minister Neville
Chamberlain, the museum now boasts a fine collection of locally crafted model ships
and black-and-white photographs highlighting the cay's history. Ask to see the collection
of old liquor bottles excavated from the outhouse. Museum director Ivy Roberts knows
everything and more about the island, and loves to chat.
