Let's set up the other end of the direct wired connection:
1. From the
Apple
drop-down menu, open
System Preferences…
and click on
the
Network
icon.
2. Select
Ethernet
in the list on the left-hand side, then in the panel on the
right-hand side, select
Manually
from the
Configure IPv4
drop-down menu.
3. Now fill in
192.168.10.2
for
IP Address
and
255.255.255.0
for
Subnet
Mask
, then click on the
Apply
button.
