13.4.2 Air and water pollution diminished by natural processes
Biorefinery industries need to be established in the proximity of biomass sources. These often
are various waste sentiments, sludge, surplus disposals or the overflow or outcome of different
treating plants. By handling the organicmaterials, biorefineries improve the environmental quality
as the waste fraction is dealt with according to the schematic flow presented in Figure 13.1.
